Yes yes, FTP. What is FTP? Good question. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. It's how you upload your files onto the internet.

Before we jump right into it, we have a checklist to check lol.


1. Your files MUST be saved on your computer. Click here to learn what, why, how, and other important things.

2. You need to download an FTP program. I suggest CoreFTP.

Why that one?

a) It's free.
b) It's what I use and if you are going to learn anything by reading this, we need to be on the same page and
c) That's what this tutorial is based around

3. Keep reading.


Now with the checklist complete, we can start to UPLOAD!!! And b/c sometimes my explanations are wack, I'm using screencaps. EVERYone can learn from looking at pictures! lol Also, be sure to click the thumb nails to see a full version of the pictures.

Now...


1. Enter your site info. Your host will give you this information.

Fill that out. Now, the things that are marked through are strictly "NO TOUCH!" if you do not know what you are doing Click Connect now, if you are finished.

2. Once you are logged on, you should see this:

3. Once you have found your folder, you can click the files you want to upload one by one OR click Ctrl+a and all of your files will be highlighted. Then you click the blue arrow and everything should be uploading When the transfer is complete, go to your URL and everything should be there!!
